SideHustleDBL
How to Use the Partner Portal to Sponsor, Support, and Manage Client Access
Version 1.1
August 2026
Prepared for approved SideHustleDBL Partners
The SideHustleDBL Partner Program enables coaching organizations, career centers, outplacement firms, and advisory practices to sponsor client access to the SideHustleDBL platform. As a Partner, you purchase a block of client seats and invite your clients to use the platform's assessment, business discovery, planning, and launch tools — all under your organization's guidance.
SideHustleDBL provides the platform, structure, and tools. You provide the coaching, advisory guidance, and program support that helps your clients succeed.
This guide is written for approved SideHustleDBL Partners and their staff, including:
You do not need a technical background to use the Partner Portal. All instructions are written in plain business language.
SideHustleDBL has three distinct areas. Understanding the difference is essential:
| Area | Who Uses It | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Public Website | Prospective Partners and clients | Marketing, plan information, and Partner Program applications |
| Partner Portal | Partner owners and advisors | Manage your organization, seats, team, billing, and client oversight |
| Client Workspace | Sponsored clients (your clients) | Assessment, business discovery, business plan builder, and launch tools |
Key Distinction
| SideHustleDBL Provides | The Partner Provides |
|---|---|
| The assessment and matching engine | Coaching, advisory guidance, and professional services |
| Business discovery, planning, and launch tools | Program structure and curriculum integration |
| Seat management and billing infrastructure | Client onboarding and accountability |
| Automatic read-only visibility for sponsored clients | Interpretation and application of results |
| Technical support and platform maintenance | Client-facing guidance and support |
The Partner Program lets you offer your clients a structured, self-paced platform for discovering, building, and launching a side business or income stream — without you having to build or maintain that tooling yourself. You sponsor their access, they get the full platform, and you automatically receive read-only visibility into the side hustles they select and the progress they record, to inform your coaching or program delivery. The client may revoke this access at any time.
A sponsored-client seat is one paid client access slot on your organization's plan. When you invite a client and they accept, one seat becomes active. When a sponsorship ends, that seat can be released and reassigned to a new client. Your plan determines how many seats you have.
Your organization can assign different roles to your staff. Each role has different permissions:
When you sponsor a client, you are paying for their access to the platform. The client receives an invitation, creates their own account, and works independently in the Client Workspace. You may assign a coach from your team to that client. The sponsorship continues until you release the seat or your subscription ends.
Important
When a sponsored client accepts your invitation and the sponsorship is active, authorized partner users automatically receive read-only visibility into the side hustles the client selects and the work the client completes across Discover, Build, and Launch. The client does not need to share each side hustle separately. Access is read-only — partners cannot edit client work, see unrelated private account information or billing information, or view clients they do not sponsor. The client may revoke this access at any time. See Section 10 for a full explanation of how visibility works.
SideHustleDBL supports co-branding so your clients see your organization's identity alongside the SideHustleDBL brand — across emails, invitation pages, and inside the platform itself. There is only one version of the platform; your branding is rendered dynamically for your sponsored clients based on your organization profile. You do not manage a separate deployment.
| Touchpoint | What Your Client Sees |
|---|---|
| Client invitation email | Your logo (or organization name if no logo is set) in the email header, with 'Powered by SideHustleDBL' alongside |
| Invitation acceptance page | Your logo and welcome message when the client clicks to accept their sponsored access |
| Sponsored access transition page | Your logo shown when a client reviews sponsorship status or transitions to a direct subscription |
| Platform header (in-app) | A 'Sponsored by [your organization]' badge in the navigation bar clients see when logged in |
SideHustleDBL Branding Always Appears
Automatic Roll-Off to Direct Customer
Once your Partner Program application is approved, you will receive an email invitation to complete onboarding. The onboarding wizard walks you through setting up your organization, accepting the Partner Agreement, choosing a plan, completing billing, and activating your account.
After approval, an onboarding invitation email is sent to the email address on your application. Click the secure link to begin.
If you are new to SideHustleDBL, you will create an account. If you already have an account, you will log in and the invitation will link to your organization.
Read the agreement carefully. The organization owner must accept it before the account can be activated. Your acceptance is recorded with a version number and timestamp.
Enter your organization name, contact information, and description. Upload your logo and optionally add a welcome message — these appear on client invitation emails, the invitation acceptance page, and as a 'Sponsored by' badge in the platform header your clients see when logged in. SideHustleDBL branding always appears alongside yours.
Choose the seat tier that fits your practice. Plans are based on the number of client seats you need. You can upgrade later as your practice grows.
Enter your payment information through the secure Stripe checkout. You can choose monthly or annual billing. Your subscription begins once checkout is complete.
A short training module confirms you understand how to use the Partner Portal, manage seats, and respect client consent boundaries.
Once all steps are complete, your organization is activated and you can access the Partner Portal and begin inviting clients.

Invitation Expiry
The dashboard is your home base in the Partner Portal. It gives you a real-time snapshot of your organization's status, seat usage, client activity, and anything that needs your attention.
[SCREENSHOT PLACEHOLDER]
Partner Dashboard
At the top of the dashboard you will see your organization name, current status (active, past due, suspended, etc.), and your plan tier. This tells you at a glance whether your account is in good standing.
The capacity section shows how many seats your plan includes, how many are active, how many are pending (invitations sent but not yet accepted), and how many are available. A visual bar shows utilization at a glance.
This stat shows the number of clients currently using the platform under your sponsorship. These are clients who have accepted your invitation and have an active seat.
If you have sent invitations that have not been accepted, they appear here. You can resend or revoke pending invitations from the Clients page.
The dashboard shows how many of your active clients currently have read-only visibility active, and how many have a coach assigned. These indicators help you identify where clients may need a nudge or where your team has gaps.
The notification bell in the top navigation alerts you to important events: sharing revocations or restorations, seat status changes, billing events, and support ticket updates.
The dashboard surfaces a recommended next action based on your current state — for example, "Invite your first client" or "Assign an advisor." This helps new Partners get oriented quickly.
If there are items that require action — such as a past-due payment, unaccepted invitations, or clients without an assigned coach — they appear in the Needs Attention strip at the top of the dashboard.
A collapsible checklist at the top of the dashboard tracks your setup progress: completing your profile, confirming billing, inviting your team, and inviting your first client. You can expand or collapse this card, and it remembers your preference.
Seats are the core unit of the Partner Program. Understanding how they work is essential to managing your sponsorship effectively.
Client management is accessed through Clients in the main navigation. The Clients section contains two secondary tabs:
Navigation Update
Your plan includes a set number of seats. When a client accepts your invitation, one seat moves from "available" to "active." When a sponsorship ends, the seat returns to "available" (after any grace period) and can be reused. You can view your current capacity on the dashboard and on the Clients page.
[SCREENSHOT PLACEHOLDER]
Seat Management Area
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Available | Provisioned and ready for a new client invitation |
| Reserved | Held for a pending invitation — not yet accepted |
| Invitation Pending | Invitation sent, awaiting client acceptance |
| Active | Client accepted and is using the platform under your sponsorship |
| Suspended | Temporarily paused (still billable) — partner or admin action |
| Scheduled for Release | Release date set — entitlement continues until that date |
| Grace Period | Past release date — limited access window before full release |
| Released | Sponsorship ended — seat available for reassignment after admin reset |
If you need more seats than your current plan allows, you can upgrade to a higher tier. Go to Billing → Upgrade Plan to see available options. The change takes effect immediately, and billing is prorated for the remaining cycle.
Reassignment Limits
If you reach your seat capacity, you cannot invite additional clients until seats are released or you upgrade your plan. The system will notify you when capacity is exceeded and guide you to the Billing page to add capacity.
Annual billing offers a discount compared to monthly billing. If your practice has a stable client base, annual billing reduces per-seat cost. Monthly billing offers flexibility if your client roster fluctuates.
Inviting clients is how you connect people to your sponsored platform access. The invitation process is designed to be simple for both you and your client.
Navigate to Partner Portal → Clients.
This opens the invitation form.
Double-check the email — this is where the invitation is sent.
Select a coach from your team to be assigned to this client. You can change this later.
If your program has a defined duration, set the expected sponsorship end date.
A brief welcome message makes the invitation feel personal.
The client receives an email with a secure link to accept.
[SCREENSHOT PLACEHOLDER]
Client Invitation Flow
The invitation email is sent immediately and contains a secure, time-limited link. The link expires after 14 days. The email explains that your organization is sponsoring their access and includes your personal message if you provided one.
Invitations that have been sent but not yet accepted appear on the Clients page. You can see when each was sent, resend if needed, or revoke if the invitation is no longer relevant.
[SCREENSHOT PLACEHOLDER]
Pending Invitation View
If a client says they did not receive the email, or it expired, use the Resend action. The client receives a fresh invitation with a new link. Resending is rate-limited to prevent spam.
If you sent an invitation in error or no longer want to sponsor that client, use the Revoke action. This cancels the invitation and releases any reserved seat.
When the client clicks the invitation link and accepts, they create their SideHustleDBL account (or log in if they already have one). They are then taken to the Client Workspace, where they begin with the onboarding assessment. Their seat status changes to Active.
Existing Subscriptions
The All Clients tab (Clients → All Clients) is your primary client management workspace. From here, authorized partner users can:
The Batches tab (Clients → Batches) lets you upload and manage groups of clients in bulk. This is ideal for onboarding cohorts, program intakes, or any situation where you need to invite multiple clients at once.
Navigate to the Batches tab from the Clients section.
Click Upload CSV to select a file, or start a new batch manually. The CSV template includes columns for first name, last name, email, cohort, program, and optional advisor name.
The system validates each row for required fields, email format, and duplicates. You'll see a summary of valid, invalid, and duplicate records before proceeding.
Check the validation results. Invalid rows are flagged so you can correct them. Only valid records are imported.
Click Send Invitations to send invitations to all valid, imported clients. Each client receives an individual invitation email with a unique secure link.
Click any batch to see detailed statistics: total uploaded, valid, invalid, duplicate, imported, and invitation status breakdown.
After sending batch invitations, the batch detail view shows the status of each invitation:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Sent | Invitation email was successfully sent to the client |
| Delivered | Email was delivered successfully |
| Failed | The invitation email could not be sent — check the error details |
| Pending | Invitation is queued and being processed |
| Accepted | The client has accepted the invitation and is now active |
| Expired | The invitation link expired before the client accepted |
| Canceled | The invitation was revoked or the batch was canceled |
From the batch detail view, you can take the following actions on eligible clients:
| Action | What It Does | Effect on Seats |
|---|---|---|
| Retry | Attempts to send invitations that previously failed (e.g., email delivery failure). Only clients with a Failed status are retried. | No additional seats consumed — retries use the existing reserved seat for each client. |
| Resend | Creates or sends a replacement invitation for an eligible client whose invitation was sent but not accepted (e.g., expired or lost). The previous invitation is revoked and a new one is issued. | The reserved seat is maintained — no additional seat is consumed. |
| Cancel / Revoke | Ends the applicable invitation or sponsored-access process. For pending invitations, the invitation is canceled and the reserved seat is released. For active clients, sponsored access is ended and the seat enters the release workflow. | Releases the seat back to available capacity (after any applicable grace period for active clients). |
Understanding the Difference
Retry is for invitations that failed to send (technical delivery failure).
Resend is for invitations that were sent successfully but the client did not act on them (expired, lost, or not received).
Cancel / Revoke ends the invitation or sponsorship entirely and frees the seat.
Core Principle
When you sponsor a client, you are purchasing a seat that grants the client access to the platform's tools. The client's assessment results, business plans, financial models, marketing materials, and all other work product remain the client's intellectual property.
There is no "log in as client" feature. The Partner Portal provides a separate, read-only view of authorized client progress — it does not give you access to the client's workspace, credentials, or editing tools.
Partners cannot edit, generate, or modify any client data. Even with Data Sharing enabled, the partner view is strictly read-only. If a client needs help with their work, they must make the changes themselves in their own workspace.
When you release a client seat, the client enters a grace period with limited access, then their sponsored entitlement ends. At that point, the client can:
If a client wants to continue after your sponsorship ends, SideHustleDBL may offer them a direct subscription at their current tier. Their assessment, matches, and business plans carry over seamlessly. You are not charged for their direct subscription, and they remain in control.
Data Sharing is the mechanism that allows Partners to view client progress. When a client accepts a sponsored invitation, sharing begins automatically — the client does not need to locate a sharing control, select categories, or affirmatively turn sharing on. The client may revoke access at any time.
Default Sharing Model
When sharing is active, the Partner can view these areas in read-only mode:
| Shared Area | What the Partner Can See |
|---|---|
| Assessment Results | Completed assessment profile, experience level, skills, interests, and preferences (not raw answers) |
| Recommended & Selected Side Hustles | Matched side hustles, fit scores, and the side hustle selected as active |
| Business Plan | Selected side hustle, completion %, completed vs. outstanding plan sections, value proposition, revenue model, marketing plan, milestones |
| Market Validation | Target audience profiling, competitor analysis, demand sensing, success analysis, blue ocean analysis |
| Launch/Progress | Launch plan milestones, weekly progress, launch readiness indicators, 12-week plan completion |
[SCREENSHOT PLACEHOLDER]
Data Sharing Status
The Data Sharing column on the Clients page shows each client's current sharing status.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Sharing (green) | The client's data is shared with you. Click the badge or use 'View Client Data' in the Actions menu to open their read-only profile. If no progress has been reported yet, 'No progress reported yet' appears below the badge. |
| Revoked by client (gray) | The client has revoked data sharing. You cannot view their data, summaries, progress percentages, or last-known values. A 'Send sharing reminder' action is not available — only the client can restore sharing. |
| Invitation pending (neutral) | The client has not activated their account yet. Sharing is not available until they accept the invitation. |
| Not applicable | The row is an unused seat or 'Ready to invite' entry — no client account exists to share data. |
The client can revoke sharing at any time from their Partner Permissions page. The revocation confirmation explains which organization will lose access, which areas are affected, that revocation takes effect immediately, and that previously viewed or downloaded information cannot be recalled. After confirmation, the Partner's access to all shared categories is removed immediately — no previews, summaries, or last-known values are shown. The client's sponsored platform access is not terminated by revoking sharing.
If a client previously revoked sharing, they can restore it at any time from their Partner Permissions page. Only the client can restore sharing — the Partner cannot request or force restoration.
With sharing active, the Partner opens the client's read-only profile from the Clients page. Each shared area appears as a tab with summary data. The Partner can refresh the data at any time. All views are server-gated — sharing status and seat status are re-verified on every data request.
Partner access to shared data is automatically terminated when the client revokes sharing, the sponsored-client relationship ends, the client is removed from the partner organization, sponsored access is canceled or revoked, or the partner organization loses authorization. Historical data is not left accessible through cached pages, exports, reports, or direct URLs.
Data Sharing turns the platform into a coaching tool. You can see if a client has completed their assessment, whether they've selected a side hustle, how far their business plan has progressed, and whether they've been inactive. This lets you prepare for sessions, identify stuck clients, and tailor your guidance — all without the client having to manually report status.
Professional Boundaries
Once a client has accepted their sponsorship invitation and data sharing is active, you can review their progress from the Partner Portal. This section explains how to interpret what you see and use it in your coaching practice.
[SCREENSHOT PLACEHOLDER]
Client Progress View
| Indicator | What It Tells You |
|---|---|
| Last meaningful activity | When the client last took a substantive action (not just logging in) |
| Days inactive | How many days since last meaningful activity — a flag for disengagement |
| Total usage minutes | Cumulative time spent on the platform — engagement signal |
| Assessment completed | Whether the client has finished their initial assessment |
| Business plan completion % | How far through the business plan builder they've progressed |
| Active side hustle | Which side hustle the client has selected to focus on |
The Business Plan tab shows which plan sections are complete and which are outstanding. Use this to structure your coaching sessions — celebrate completed sections and focus your guidance on the next outstanding area.
Coaching Tip
Only reference data the client has authorized. If a client has not granted consent for a category, do not ask them to justify why — simply work with what they share verbally. If consent is revoked mid-engagement, stop referencing that data immediately.
The Reports section (available from the main navigation) provides comprehensive analytics for owners and coaches (advisors).
From the Batches tab, each batch shows its current status (Draft, Validating, Ready, Processing, Partially Completed, Completed, Completed with Errors, or Canceled) along with invitation statistics (sent, delivered, failed, pending, accepted, expired). Click any batch to see per-client details.
Report Visibility by Role
If your organization has multiple staff members, you can invite them to join your Partner Portal with role-based access. This lets advisors manage their own assigned clients — all under one organization.
[SCREENSHOT PLACEHOLDER]
Team-Member Management
Invited team members join as Advisors. See Section 13 for the full permissions table.
If a staff member leaves your organization, deactivate them from the Team page. This immediately revokes their Partner Portal access. If they were an assigned coach, their clients are flagged for reassignment.

Advisor — Client-facing. Can invite and manage their own clients, view authorized progress, and contact support.
This section explains how Partner billing works, how to manage your plan, and what to expect around payments, invoices, and cancellations.
Partner pricing is based on seat tiers — the more seats you purchase, the lower the per-seat cost. Plans are organized in tiers (e.g., 1–9 seats, 10–24, 25–49, 50–99, 100+). You pay for the tier, not individual seats, and can use any number of seats up to your tier's maximum.
You are billed for your plan tier, not per active client. Whether you have 3 or 15 active clients within a 25-seat tier, the monthly cost is the same. This lets you scale usage without per-client billing surprises.
Monthly billing charges your payment method each month on the same date. You can cancel or change plans at any time, with changes taking effect at the next billing cycle (or immediately for upgrades).
Annual billing charges one upfront payment for 12 months and offers a discount compared to monthly. Annual plans provide cost savings for stable practices and reduce administrative overhead.
[SCREENSHOT PLACEHOLDER]
Billing or Plan Management
When you upgrade mid-cycle, you are charged a prorated amount for the difference between your current and new plan for the remaining days in the billing period. Downgrades take effect at the next cycle to avoid disrupting active client seats.
Payment methods are managed securely through Stripe. You can add or update cards from the Billing page using the Stripe customer portal. SideHustleDBL does not store your card details directly.
Invoices are generated automatically each billing period and are available on the Billing page. You can download or print them for your records. Past invoices remain accessible for the life of your account.
Failed Payment Impact
You can cancel your subscription from the Billing page. Cancellation can be scheduled for the end of the current billing period (allowing clients to finish their cycle) or, in cases of nonpayment, may take effect immediately. Cancellations can be reversed if done before the effective date.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) until canceled. You will receive a renewal notification before each annual renewal.
Only the organization Owner can access billing management. Coaches cannot view or modify billing information.
For large organizations (100+ seats) or custom arrangements, contact SideHustleDBL support to discuss institutional pricing. Custom plans may involve a separate order form, custom Stripe pricing, and dedicated support tier.
The current Partner Program Agreement is available in the Partner Portal. During onboarding, you review and accept it as a required step. After acceptance, you can revisit the agreement text at any time from the Partner Guide or Settings page.
[SCREENSHOT PLACEHOLDER]
Partner Agreement Acceptance
Only the organization Owner can accept the Partner Agreement. This ensures that the person with full organizational authority has reviewed and agreed to the terms on behalf of the organization.
The agreement defines the rights and responsibilities of both SideHustleDBL and the Partner. It covers client ownership, data privacy, billing terms, acceptable use, and professional conduct. Activation cannot proceed until the agreement is accepted — this protects both parties and ensures clear expectations.
Each agreement version has a unique version code (e.g., v1.0, v2.0). When you accept, the system records:
This creates an audit trail that can be referenced if questions arise about what terms were in effect.
Version Updates
This section provides practical guidance on incorporating SideHustleDBL into your coaching, advisory, or educational programs. The platform is flexible — it can serve as a pre-session assignment, a between-session accountability tool, a cohort resource, or a standalone program pathway.
Use the assessment and match engine to help clients identify side businesses that fit their skills, experience, and time constraints. The platform's Discover phase gives career-transition clients a structured way to explore options while you focus on decision-making support and accountability.
The Build and Launch phases provide a structured business plan builder, financial modeling, legal compliance guidance, and launch tracking. Use these as the "homework" between coaching sessions, then review authorized progress to ground your sessions in what the client has actually done.
For clients in career transition, SideHustleDBL offers a productive parallel track — building an income stream while seeking full-time employment. The platform keeps them engaged, productive, and optimistic during what can be a stressful period.
Assign SideHustleDBL as a semester-long project or capstone resource. Students complete the assessment, explore matches, build a plan, and present their launch-readiness at the end of the term. Data Sharing lets faculty monitor engagement without manual check-ins.
For workforce-development participants, SideHustleDBL provides a structured pathway from self-assessment to income generation. Program managers can use the dashboard to track cohort engagement and identify participants who need additional support.
Offer SideHustleDBL as an employee benefit or professional-development resource. Employees build income-diversification skills that enhance their financial wellness and entrepreneurial thinking — valuable even if they never launch the side business.
Financial advisors and wellness programs can use SideHustleDBL to help clients create supplementary income streams. The financial modeling tools help clients understand startup costs, break-even timelines, and revenue projections before committing.
| Model | How It Works |
|---|---|
| Pre-session assignment | Client completes a platform section before each coaching session; you review authorized progress at the start |
| Between-session accountability | Client works independently between sessions; you check activity and completion to guide accountability |
| Cohort program resource | Multiple clients progress through the platform on a shared timeline; you facilitate group check-ins |
| Career-transition pathway | Client uses Discover to identify options while in job search; transitions to Build once employed |
| Side-business validation sprint | Intensive 4–6 week program: assess → match → validate → decide whether to build |
| Launch-readiness program | Client has a business idea; uses Build and Launch to prepare for go-live with your guidance |
Remember
This is a practical operating workflow you can follow for each client or cohort. Adapt it to your practice style and program structure.
Determine who will receive sponsored access and what program goals they have.
Confirm you have an available seat. If not, upgrade your plan or release an inactive seat.
Send an invitation from the Clients page (Clients → All Clients) with their name, email, assigned coach, and optional personal message. For multiple clients, use Clients → Batches to upload a CSV and send invitations in bulk.
The client accepts the invitation, creates their account, and completes the initial assessment. Monitor for stuck clients.
The platform generates personalized side hustle matches. The client explores and pins options that interest them.
In your coaching session, discuss the matches (if consent granted). Help the client evaluate options against their goals and constraints.
The client selects a side hustle and progresses through the platform's phases at their own pace.
Check the client's read-only profile for activity, completion status, and stuck points. Prepare for sessions accordingly.
Deliver your coaching sessions, group check-ins, or program milestones informed by the client's platform activity.
When the engagement ends, release the seat (with appropriate timing and grace period) or continue sponsorship. Reassign the seat to the next client.
Workflow Tip
How you introduce SideHustleDBL to your clients shapes their engagement. Use these templates as starting points and adapt them to your voice and program context.
Hi [Client Name],
As part of our work together, I'm giving you access to SideHustleDBL — a platform that helps you discover, build, and launch a side business or income stream aligned with your skills and goals. You'll start with a short assessment, then receive personalized business recommendations.
I'll sponsor your access through [Organization Name], so there's no cost to you. Look for an invitation email from SideHustleDBL in the next day or two.
Best regards,

Hi [Client Name],
I wanted to check in — did you receive the SideHustleDBL invitation email? The link is valid for 14 days. If you can't find it, let me know and I'll resend it right away.
Once you're in, start with the assessment — it takes about 15 minutes and gives us a great foundation for our next session.
[Your Name]
Hi [Client Name],
Great progress on the platform! For our next session, I'd like to focus on [specific area based on progress data]. Take a look at the [specific section] before we meet, and come with any questions.
[Your Name]
Hi [Client Name],
Just a friendly nudge — the assessment is the foundation for everything else in SideHustleDBL. Once you complete it, you'll get personalized business recommendations we can discuss in our next session. It takes about 15 minutes.
[Your Name]
Hi [Client Name],
As part of our work together, I'm sponsoring your access to SideHustleDBL. When you accept the invitation, I'll automatically be able to see — in read-only form — the side hustles you select and the work and progress you record, so I can support you through the Discover, Build, and Launch process. I can't edit your work, and I won't see your private account or billing information.
You can turn off this visibility at any time from your Partner Permissions page if you'd prefer I not see your progress.
[Your Name]
Hi [Client Name],
Our sponsorship period is coming to an end on [date]. After that, your SideHustleDBL access will transition to a limited free tier. If you'd like to continue with full access, you can purchase a direct subscription — all your work carries over.
Let's discuss this in our next session.
[Your Name]
This section covers common issues and how to resolve them. For anything not covered here, use the Support page in the Partner Portal to submit a support request.
Clients may stall during onboarding if they find the assessment long or are unsure what to expect. Reach out personally, explain that the assessment takes about 15 minutes, and emphasize that it powers their personalized recommendations. You can see their last activity date (with consent) to gauge engagement.
The platform uses hCaptcha to prevent automated abuse. If a client cannot pass verification, ensure they are using a modern browser, have JavaScript enabled, and are not behind a restrictive corporate firewall. If problems persist, contact support.
If you try to invite a client and get a capacity error, either release an inactive client seat or upgrade your plan from the Billing page. See Section 7 for seat management details.
For payment failures, update your payment method from the Billing page via the Stripe portal. For invoice discrepancies or billing questions, submit a support request with the invoice number.
Only the organization Owner can accept the Partner Agreement. If the agreement step is blocking activation, ensure the Owner has logged in and completed the acceptance step. If the agreement has been updated, the Owner must accept the new version.
Clients can continue independently by purchasing a direct subscription. Their assessment, matches, and business plans carry over. Direct them to the Pricing page within their workspace, or contact support for assistance with the transition.

Support/Help Area
These Are Mandatory, Not Optional
Every person who accesses the Partner Portal must have their own account. Never share your username or password with anyone, including colleagues or clients. Shared logins make actions unattributable and create security vulnerabilities.
Only access client data that has been explicitly shared through the Data Sharing consent mechanism. Do not attempt to circumvent consent, ask clients to share screenshots of unauthorized data, or use any back-channel methods to view client work.
If a client declines or revokes Data Sharing, respect that decision. Do not pressure them, penalize them, or make consent a condition of your coaching relationship. Consent is the client's right, not a privilege you grant.
Data Sharing data is for your internal coaching use only. Do not export it to external systems, share it with third parties, use it for marketing, or include it in publicly shared case studies without the client's explicit written permission.
No Guarantees

Always advise clients to consult licensed professionals for these matters. Use SideHustleDBL outputs as discussion starters, not as definitive guidance.
The platform provides data and structure. You provide judgment, experience, and professional guidance. Do not simply relay platform outputs to clients — interpret them, contextualize them, and help clients apply them to their specific situation with your expertise.
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| What is a sponsored-client seat? | One paid client access slot on your plan. Active when a client accepts your invitation; reusable after release. |
| Is there a minimum number of seats? | Plans start at 1 seat. Choose the tier that fits your practice — you can upgrade as you grow. |
| Can a seat be reassigned? | Yes. When a sponsorship ends, the seat becomes available for a new client. Reassignments are limited per billing cycle to prevent abuse. |
| Can clients keep their work? | Yes. Clients own their accounts and all work product. If sponsorship ends, they can continue with a direct subscription or the free tier — their work is preserved. |
| Can Partners see client progress automatically? | Yes. When a sponsored client accepts the invitation and the sponsorship is active, authorized partner users automatically receive read-only visibility into the side hustles the client selects and the work they complete across Discover, Build, and Launch. The client does not need to share each side hustle separately. The client may revoke access at any time. |
| Can Partners edit client work? | No. The Partner view is strictly read-only. Partners cannot edit, generate, or modify any client data. |
| Does SideHustleDBL provide coaching to Partner-sponsored clients? | No. SideHustleDBL provides the platform and tools. The Partner is responsible for all coaching, advisory, and client-facing services. |
| Can Partners charge clients for access? | Partners sponsor access through their plan. Whether you charge clients for your coaching services (which may include platform access) is a business decision between you and your clients. SideHustleDBL does not facilitate Partner-to-client billing. |
| What happens when sponsorship ends? | The client enters a grace period, then transitions to the free Explorer tier or can purchase a direct subscription. Their account and work remain intact. |
| What if we need more seats? | Upgrade your plan from the Billing page. The change takes effect immediately with prorated billing for the current cycle. |
| What is a client batch? | A group of clients uploaded via CSV from Clients → Batches. You can validate, import, and send invitations to all clients in a batch at once. |
| What is the difference between Retry and Resend? | Retry attempts invitations that failed to send (technical delivery failure). Resend creates a replacement invitation for a client whose invitation was sent but not accepted (expired or lost). |
| Can I cancel a batch after sending? | Yes. Open the batch detail and use Cancel to revoke all pending invitations and release reserved seats. Already-accepted clients are not affected. |
| Who handles billing? | Only the organization Owner. Coaches cannot access billing. |
| Who provides client guidance? | The Partner. SideHustleDBL provides the platform; the Partner provides coaching, advisory, and professional services. |
| What support does SideHustleDBL provide? | Technical platform support via the Support page. SideHustleDBL does not provide coaching, advisory, or client-facing guidance. |
